These Aries rocker steps protect your vehicle's rocker panels from damage caused by rocks and brush while off-roading. A 3" steel plate over the double-tube construction provides a stable step when entering and exiting your vehicle. The flat-profile steps mount high and close to your rocker panels to help you maintain ground clearance. The textured black powder coat resists corrosion and helps keep the rocker steps looking great. Installation is quick and easy with the welded mounting brackets and custom-fit hardware.
Stable, 3" Wide Steps
Each rocker step is constructed of a 3" wide plate welded onto twin steel tubes with steel ends. These twin tubes and wide plate combine to ensure stability when entering and exiting your vehicle.
Carbon Steel Construction
The steps are made entirely of tough carbon steel with no plastic parts or hardware. The textured black powder coating helps protect the steel from rust and hides minor scrapes and scratches.
Superior Ground Clearance
These rocker steps have a flat profile and mount high and close to your rocker panels to help you maintain the ground clearance of your vehicle. They are designed to protect your rocker panels from damage caused by rocks and brush while off-roading.

Adam: Hi everyone, Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Aires Rocker Steps. Aires does have a lot of custom fit kits that we carry here on etrailer.com. So just put your vehicle into the fit guide on our website and pick the right kit for you. So these rocker panels are going to be a great addition to your Jeep, it's going to give you a really aggressive look and just take you away from that OEM feel. The step portion of these rockers are about three inches wide, so it makes it pretty comfortable just sitting here on the driver's seat, putting my feet on and just relaxing a little bit.
As you can see here, we do have a pretty cool powder-coated finish to it. It is going to differentiate from our OEM look here. A lot of the times when you get these from the factory, all your rockers would match. But to be honest, I really do like the look and finish of this rocker.So in comparing these to the OEM steps that sometimes come with these Jeeps, we have holes here. And what that's going to do, it's going to allow that water just to seep through there.
A lot of the times it's just a straight plastic piece that comes out and all that water is kind of puddle up and make it a little bit more slippery. With this more gritty feel to it, and these holes. I think we're going to have maximum traction getting in and out of our Jeep. So between the low carbon steel that this is made of, and with this gritty looking powder coat, it is going to last a long time and it's going to keep all those scratches kind of hidden. As you can see, it does have a pretty cool design, but even if maybe we have a bunch of mud on our feet, we can scrape that off.
And we really won't have to worry about leaving scratches or wearing way of this powder coat.So these steps are going to mount a little bit higher than your OEM rockers. So you're going to have a maximum ground clearance, you won't have to worry as much about scraping it whenever you're going off road. So we do have our stock wheels and tires on our Wrangler here. And as you can see, we have a lot of room. These aren't too long so if you have more aggressive mud tires, both in the front and also way here in the back, we have plenty of room to play with.
So if we want to mess around with different tire sizes, we're going to be able to do that without having any clearance issues. Another really good feature I like, it's a bolt on installation. We don't have to drill anything so if you put them on and you don't necessarily like the look, you don't have to sit there and live with those holes that you drilled. Sturdy well built, rough texture coating looks awesome when installed. Very easy to install by using factory location on 2019 4Runner TRD Off-road models. Doesn’t stick out too far like some models but just enough and low for east foot placement on the front and back.
Goldilocks, not too big and not too small. They add to the lines of my 4Runner, actually providing a more finished look without reducing my ground clearance. I’m 75 and was able to install easily by just driving up on some 2x8’s
Great product. Very happy with my purchase. Fits perfectly on my new 5th gen 4Runner. Installation was simple. Took about 45 minutes to install on my own. Product is solid, heavy, and texture of surface helps from slipping in wet weather.

Installed easily. Ride close to the body so they don't hit things when off road. I love the fact that mud and dirt fall through the holes. That is important when you live at the end of 3 miles of dirt road.
